Sun Sea Sand and Slot Machines

I haven't written anything in ages, I've been so busy with my dissertation but I've completely one hundred per cent finished now, thank the lord, so we went on a little outing to Blackpool.  I absolutely love Blackpool, yes its tacky but in a good way, and I used to go every year with Kath so it was a little bitter sweet, but it was great to have a change of scene and think about something other than the impact of designer collaborations on luxury fashion brands and other such fascinating topics.  

The day began with torrential rain and a maximum speed limit of 40 on the motorway but by some miracle, by the time we arrived, there was glorious sunshine.  We didn't have very much time but we managed to cram in a walk along the front, a few rides on the pier, fish and chips on the beach and a lot of 2ps in the slot machines.
