The Falling Garden

Just in time for spring- this beautiful little art installation is called The Falling Garden by Swiss artists Gerda Steiner and Jörg Lenzlinger, who design site specific installations.  This one is for a Venetian church and is made up of silk buds, beech, elder and magnolia branches, celery roots, seaweed, baobab seeds and plastic berries suspended from the ceiling and surrounded by marble, paintings and statues.
