I never really wear eye shadow, but recently I've been trying to make more of an effort with my makeup and thought I would experiment a little. My friend Kerry bought me some MAC eye shadow for Christmas, in a lovely purpley grey colour which I love, but considering I still rarely wear it, I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I keep hearing people raving about MUA from Superdrug and their dupes of the Naked palette and to be honest, it sounded too good to be true. However, with a £4 price tag, I thought this could be a cheap and easy way of weaning myself into eye shadow. If I liked it, I would splash out and buy something better, and if not, it didn't matter with a price like that. So I had low expectations when I bought their Undress Me Too palette (clever name huh?).
How wrong I was. These eye shadows are fab. Now the above paragraph confirms that I do not really know what I am talking about, but they're really pigmented, don't crease, last for hours and they blend surprisingly easily. It also comes with a double ended applicator, one end which I use for the dark shades and the other for the lighter shades, and I actually prefer this to my brushes. There are some matte and some shimmer shades, and all quite neutral which is perfect for me- it would be a bit weird to go from never wearing eye shadow to suddenly wearing peacock blue on my eyelids. I'm so impressed, especially for £4, so if you're having a skint few weeks, this is a great purchase.
