A Bad Time of Year for a Holiday

Our little holiday in Shropshire did not go to plan in any way, shape or form, but it was still lovely. We stayed near Shrewsbury but went exploring in Ludlow and Church Stretton as well, which were both beautiful. I loved Ludlow especially, which is full of little gift shops and teashops, with a castle right in the middle, and there is an amazing vintage clothes shop as well which is well worth a visit! We wandered around the little villages, ate lots of cake and went walking through the countryside, often accompanied by a snow storm or two. In the evening we went back to the cottage to recover, and eat Marks and Spencers food and drink lots of wine in front of a log fire :)
