North Wales

My mum and I recently went on a little day trip to Colwyn Bay in North Wales. She used to go on holiday in the area when she was a child and when we were little she used to take us to, so it was lovely to go back  and see how much I could remember.  We went to the beach and then armed with her National Trust membership, had a wander around Bodnant Gardens. Having grown up in the countryside, I am not always willing to go and look at some more somewhere else, but these gardens were absolutely beautiful.  They are world famous, with a gorgeous laburnum archway,  and amazing views over Snowdonia.
