Trend- Think Pink Said Red

So I heard on the grapevine that a new trend is to wear pink and red together.  Both colours are big for Autumn Winter 13/14 (products for which are already arriving in stores, despite being in the middle of a heat wave...) with Peter Pilotto and Burberry sending red down the catwalk and Topshop Unique, Mulberry and Jonathan Saunders all using shades of pink. So why not kill two birds with one stone and combine the two? This works best using simple pieces to create a block of colour, just be careful about what shades you use- clashing colours only really works if the colours don't actually clash.
