View from the Top

I was on a mission this weekend to start doing some more exploring and resume my role as a live in tourist. The past few weeks I feel like I've been wasting my precious weekends and I was determined to do something about it. I did a Google search on things to do in London, and after the long list of the usual must-see's the Monument to the Fire of London cropped up. Virtually outside Monument tube station, you can climb the 311 steps up to the top and see amazing views of the city. It is quite a climb, and it's a spiral staircase, but for £4 it's definitely worth it.
